Are you commercially minded, analytically sharp, and passionate about using data to drive business decisions? Join our EMEA Commercial Finance team as a Finance Analyst and play a key role in supporting our UK commercial performance through high-quality forecasting, reporting, and insight.

We're Pentland Brands; a dynamic, global family business, and proud owners and licensees of many iconic active and footwear brands. With a community of over 1,300 team members worldwide, we embrace diversity and inclusion, and champion growth and development. Our success is built on teamwork, courage, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?

As a Finance Analyst within the Commercial Finance - EMEA team, you'll be responsible for delivering timely, accurate and insightful reporting that informs strategic and operational decision-making across our UK business. Working closely with commercial stakeholders, you'll help shape performance conversations and drive understanding of sales, margin and profitability.

You'll also contribute to improving how we work by supporting the transition from Excel-based reporting to Power BI, developing more standardised and automated tools, and helping us use data more effectively across the business.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?

As our Finance Analyst you will:

Supporting the monthly sales forecast process (IBP), ensuring forecasts, risks, and opportunities are robust and aligned to our UK commercial structure. Delivering month-end sales and margin variance analysis with clear, actionable commentary. Creating and maintaining detailed margin reporting by category, channel, customer, and brand. Conducting cost centre reviews and variance analysis to support budget control. Leading the refresh of Customer and Channel P&Ls to highlight profitability and areas for improvement. Supporting the Senior Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis including promotion performance, investment cases, and commercial proposals. Preparing finance updates for regional commercial meetings and quarterly team days. Tracking commercial sales targets linked to incentive schemes and UK Gameplan objectives. Contributing to reporting improvements and automation alongside Data Analytics and Trading Finance teams.

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?

You just might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:

Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience in commercial finance. Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to turn data into insight. Excellent attention to detail and confidence handling large data sets. Clear communicator who can partner with non-finance teams and explain the "so what" behind the numbers. A proactive approach to improving tools, processes and the way we deliver insight. Experience with Power BI (desirable but not essential).

We want you to live our company principles, bringing a strong consumer focus, while always looking for ways to improve and grow in your role. Take ownership of your work and be proactive in solving problems whilst communicating openly and treating everyone with respect and kindness. And, of course, let your creativity shine by bringing your unique style and individuality to the Pentland Brands Team.
