The Finance function operates at the heart of Rapha as a multi-functional, business facing department. Rapha is dynamic and we are looking for an individual who is happy to get into the detail to support the business and continue our growth as a world class omni-channel retailer.

Finance Analyst




As the Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the finance team; delivering insightful financial analysis and reporting, partnering with business stakeholders to drive commercial decisions, and maintaining accurate financial data to ultimately ensure that accurate and timely financial information can be reported to the Board and key business stakeholders.



This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their finance career who is looking to develop their analytical and business partnering skills. Working closely with senior team members and business partners across all departments, you will support the delivery of financial reporting, analysis, and insights to help drive informed business decisions across our global operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Financial Reporting and Analysis:



Lead the production of monthly management accounts and performance reports for Retail, Wholesale and RCC (Rapha Cycling Club) channels Own the month-end reporting process including P&L analysis, balance sheet reviews and cash flow commentary Prepare executive and Board reporting packs with clear insights and recommendations Deliver timely and accurate flash reporting for retail, wholesale and RCC results Analyse financial performance against budget, prior year and latest forecast Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance metrics

Business Partnering:



Business partner our Retail, Wholesale and RCC channels to provide supportive insights to key stakeholders including senior management and leadership teams Proactively identify trends, risks and opportunities through detailed analysis Support commercial decision making with robust financial analysis and modelling Present financial results and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders Build strong relationships across the business to understand operational drivers of performance Provide routine and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business initiatives

Cost and Variance Analysis:



Complete monthly OPEX variance analysis; understanding movements and highlighting any risks or opportunities Deep dive into margin analysis across channels and territories Work with management accountants and budget owners to understand and challenge costs Summarise and explain variances for senior leadership, enabling informed decision making Identify cost saving opportunities and efficiency improvements Support month-end accruals and prepayments process

Treasury



Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements to ensure the business has sufficient funds to meet operational and strategic needs. Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and funding strategies. Support foreign exchange management and ensure that treasury processes are aligned with the hedging strategy of the business. Liaise with external banks, auditors, and other financial institutions to manage relationships and ensure favourable terms.

Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting - relevant degree or part qualified Strong commercial and analytical mindset Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, global business environment Advanced Excel skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong academics Strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple projects in an efficient way Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines Energetic, excited to learn with a growth mindset Flexible approach to work, acting in the best interest of the business An interest in cycling and the business culture is an advantage
