Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to contribute to the success of a housing association in London. The ideal candidate will support the Finance department by providing insightful financial analysis and ensuring accurate reporting relating to the Fire Remediation programme.

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to assist decision-making processes relating to the Fire Remediation programme.
  • Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to stakeholders.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather data and create forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and financial efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits and external reviews.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as required by the team.

A successful Finance Analyst should have:
  • Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA) with a strong background, and committed finishing relevant qualifications.
  • Understanding of financial analysis tools and accounting software.
  • Ability to provide timely management reports and performance information that support decision making
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
