Finance Analyst
Are you a qualified accountant with Big 4 training (or similar experience) and a passion for games? Join King's Finance team and grow your expertise in accounting and FP&A within the dynamic world of mobile gaming. This role offers a great entry point into our Investment & Optimization finance function, where you'll contribute to critical reporting and control activities across our global network - including beloved titles like Candy Crush.
Your Role in Our Kingdom
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for Investment & Optimization, you'll play a key role in strengthening our financial operations and delivering meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Control & Reporting

• Partner with the Finance team to gather inputs for monthly accounting; coordinate with Accenture to ensure timely and accurate journal posting
• ?Manage invoice and PO workflows, applying a detail-oriented and compliance-focused approach
• Prepare and support the development of monthly reporting packs, delivering clear and insightful commentary and financial analysis

Forecasting & Planning

• Support quarterly and annual forecasting cycles, contributing OpEx inputs and analysis
• Validate cost centre data, investigate variances, and identify key risks and opportunities

Insight & Innovation

• Help develop dashboards and reporting tools to increase transparency across commercial spend
• ?Explore ways to use AI and automation to improve financial processes and reporting

Ad Hoc & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Conduct detailed ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with teams across Finance, Accenture, and other business functions, with opportunities to expand into broader business partnering over time

What We're Looking For

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, ideally with Big 4 training or equivalent experience
• Solid grounding in accounting with a focus on accuracy and internal controls
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Interest in FP&A and commercial finance
• Skilled in Excel, with a desire to develop in dashboarding and financial modelling (e.g. Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
• ?Clear communicator who can translate complex topics into actionable insights
• Curious and engaged, with a collaborative mindset and drive to contribute to a high-performing, inclusive team
