As the Finance Analyst you will be reporting into the Finance Planning and Analysis Manager, and will be responsible for budget and forecast planning for both WFS and DAS entities as well as project-based analysis.
The successful candidate will have a penchant for systems and financial modelling and above all else be a systematic problem solver.
This is a high exposure role that will be involved at the forefront of strategic work with stakeholders ranging from the senior leadership team to the operations and other support functions.
A high level of excel is required for this role as often projects involve process improvements and automation, this is incorporated with systems knowledge and will be a must for the successful candidate.
This is a newly created role and will be heavily orientated towards commercial finance with limited month end responsibilities.###
Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:-
Weekly/Monthly volume revenue trend forecasts.
Reforecast (7+5) and Annual Budge planning for both entities.
Capex and Opex business case review and benefit tracking with procurement.
Analysis of monthly performance to Budget and/or Forecast of financial and non-financial information, evaluating variance impact and identifying trends.
Generate and track cost saving initiatives, holding stakeholders to account.
Generate and track revenue generating initiatives, holding stakeholders to account.
Working with procurement to understand annual contract renewals and inflationary impacts.
Working with Transaction Finance Manager to model Cashflow.
Adhering to and developing internal financial controls, improving processes where necessary.
Working closely with the Head of Finance and FP&A Manager on adhoc projects.

To be successful in this role you will need:-
To be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
Multi-site P&L / Cargo / Aviation experience will be an advantage.
Strong experience as a Finance Analyst.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Commercial and business acumen.
Strong excel and modelling skills.
Powerpoint proficiency.
Experience in PowerBI, Power Query and MSD is a plus.
Deadline adherence.
A modern outlook on Finance (systems interest and automation interest).
