Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, providing insights that will drive strategic decision-making. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. Familiarity with SQL and Power BI will be advantageous.

Duties

Conduct thorough financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives. Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with various departments to gather data and insights for comprehensive financial planning. Utilise Excel for data analysis, modelling, and reporting purposes. Develop dashboards and visualisations using Power BI to present financial data effectively. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Monitor financial performance against targets and provide actionable recommendations based on findings. Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial planning and analysis or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis. Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and analysis is highly desirable. Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is an advantage. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in English clearly and concisely. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential if experience is relevant.
