Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position requires strong IT skills, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough financial analysis to support business objectives and strategies. Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts to assist in decision-making processes. Utilise Power BI to create visual representations of financial data for easier interpretation. Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data and provide insights on financial performance. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans. Analyse trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, ensuring that complex information is easily understood.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis. Experience with SQL for database management and data extraction is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal. Previous experience in financial planning or analysis is advantageous but not essential.
