An excellent opportunity to join the Cakehead family one of the fastest growing Cake brands in the UK servicing the "out of home market" as a Finance Analyst.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. This role is essential in supporting our financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring that we make informed decisions based on accurate data. Proficiency in tools such as Power BI and SQL will be advantageous as you work to analyse financial data and generate insightful reports.

Responsibilities

Prepare costings and bill of materials (BOMs) Analysis of monthly sales and margin trends and variances at a customer and product level Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) Produce and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reporting regarding commercial performance Preparation of sales and commercial reports Providing technical expertise in system administration, including data migration, reporting structures, and system controls as well as internal trainings Developing comprehensive system documentation for Finance staff and other end-users Master data maintenance Month end stock valuation Maintain up to date documentation of business process and accounting policies Supporting the development and implementation of tools and systems to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency Prepare and maintain Power BI reporting across the business Ad hoc reporting and analysis on request

Qualifications

Relevant accountancy qualification either part qualified, AAT or working towards qualifications Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting. Experience with Power BI for data visualisation is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Attention to detail Previous experience in a financial analyst role or similar position would be advantageous.
