This role supports financial decision-making by providing insightful analysis and advice to stakeholders. The Finance Analyst role will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting within the Accounting & Finance department

• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational goals.
• Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with various departments to monitor and manage financial performance.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Support the implementation of financial controls and policies to ensure compliance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements to financial processes.
• Contribute to the preparation of grant applications and funding reports.
• Provide ad-hoc financial advice and support as required by management.

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

• A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the UK.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
