As our Finance Analyst, you will work closely with Form3's Product and Engineering teams on various critical deliverables, whilst supporting the wider business with company-wide cost management.


THE ROLE





This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Finance Analyst to join the Finance team within Form3.



In this role, you will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams on various critical deliverables, whilst supporting the wider business with company-wide cost management. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop with the support and mentorship of our Senior Finance Business Partner, whilst also making a real impact on the future success of Form3.



With a strong background in financial analysis, you will hold responsibility for maintaining accurate cost data, supporting performance tracking, and enabling decision-making across the wider business through revenue forecasting, financial modelling and tracking of cost budgets.


Key Responsibilities




Maintain and develop crucial cost data to support accurate revenue forecasting. Provide timely and accurate data to the R&D teams and assist in gathering critical R&D management information. Design, scope and create reports and presentations to monitor performance and track against targets, including management and board reporting. Build and maintain financial models relating to cost, spend, usage, and other key business metrics. Assist in tracking and monitoring cost budgets in line with key business objectives, ensuring integrity of financial data. Partner across the business to support wider initiatives and enable data-driven decision-making. Support the Tax team with the annual R&D tax claim by collating relevant resource and project data.



WE'RE LOOKING FOR




Essential





Form3's Finance team is a critical function within the business, so we are looking for a Finance Analyst with prior experience in financial analysis and cost data management, who also brings expertise in enabling data-driven business performance.


3+ years' experience in a Finance Analyst role. Part-qualified Accountant (CIMA; ACA; ACCA) and / or a Degree in Finance, Business or a related field. Proven experience in Management Accounting and cost tracking. Skilled in Excel, with strong financial modelling capability. Experience presenting to and partnering with senior stakeholders, particularly within R&D. Strong PowerPoint skills with experience preparing performance reports for various audiences.

Desirable




Able to quickly analyse, understand and summarise large datasets. Experience working within a FinTech, Payments, Banking or SaaS company. Exposure to AWS reporting methods or similar cloud infrastructure reporting tools.



THE TEAM





This role sits within Form3's Finance team and reports directly into the Senior Finance Business Partner. As a core member of this team, you will work alongside a close knit group of experienced Finance professionals, based predominantly in the UK, supporting a company of over 200 employees.



The team meet up a few times a year for social events but primarily work remotely, so staying connected via Zoom is hugely important to us - we are in contact with each other on a daily basis!
