The Role




At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to "Make it easy for men to dress well" and we can't do that without our specialist teams.





This time, we're on the lookout for a Finance Analyst who will be working with Alan le Cras from our Finance team. This is a fixed term contract role as we are requiring maternity cover in the team.





What you will be doing




The Finance Analyst will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts for Marketing including journal posting, balance sheet reconciliation and variance analysis. You will be producing a bi-weekly analysis that clearly shows the return on investment from marketing spend (new customers recruited, sales and margin on first order, expected customer lifetime value and payback period). Building report across the Marketing team to ensure they get the right financial analysis they need to make the right decisions. Successfully producing the quarterly Marketing cost forecast and annual budget, explaining clearly variances from previous plan and ad hoc analysis as required such as assessment of success of promotions.

Required Skills and Experience




Excellent communication, numerical, organisational and time management skills Keen attention to detail Strong month-end management accounting experience in a complex, business-facing environment. Knowledge of general ledger accounting systems; experience in a global, multi-site business is a plus.


Technical Skills




Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new reporting systems quickly. Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) preferred with a strong academic record.
