Job Title: Finance Analyst - VAT

Join our dynamic eCommerce team as a Finance Analyst specialising in VAT. Based in our Hackney office, just a 9-minute walk from Shoreditch High Street train station, this contract role offers the chance to contribute to a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Rate: 320 - 365 per day PAYE
What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, with a focus on VAT.

• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements, particularly within the eCommerce sector.

• Proficient in financial analysis and reporting tools.

• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional analytic skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of initiative.

• Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• analyse and manage VAT-related transactions and compliance within the organisation.

• Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns in a timely manner.

• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines concerning VAT.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve VAT queries and issues.

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Support the finance team in audits and provide necessary documentation for VAT inquiries.

• Assist in the development and implementation of VAT policies and procedures.
