Job Description


An opportunity has arisen to work as a Finance Analyst for one of the well known Automotive companies in the Warwickshire area. Working within the Aftermarket sales channel, you\'ll ideally have super reporting skills to be able to support the Senior Business Controller with the day to day forecasting and also month end.

You\'ll be working within an intimate team of 3 but supported by a global presence. The role focuses on the UK and Ireland markets.

When we say "day to day"... what on earth does that mean?!

Well, a normal day could consist of:

  • Providing operational and commercial support to the Aftermarket and Retail Directors within both the Market company and wholly owned dealers
  • Undertake month end, forecasting, reporting & planning
  • To ensure that relevant provisions and supporting documentation is complete and accurate and continual on-going monitoring and analysis of provisions is undertaken to ensure appropriate allocation and risk mitigation
  • Assess, analyse, monitor and control associated risks within the Retail aftersales markets
  • Retail, to co-ordinate and monitor wholly owned Dealer\'s forecasts and performance
  • Support and advise wholly owned Dealers reference P&L, Balance Sheet and day-to-day activities and financial training as required.
  • To follow up accounting issues with FCA and drive process efficiency improvements
  • Proactive involvement in on-going business improvement projects.
  • Work in accordance with Volvo Group UK & Renault Truck standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental care
What kind of person are we after?

The candidate our lovely client are after should be qualified either ACCA or ACA and be willing to travel to the office in Warwick at least twice per week. For the first few months whilst there is a period of handover you should be happy to travel into the office a little more than usual. Ideally you\'ll be an organised individual, able to prioritise work load and work to tight financial deadlines. Strong analytical skills are a must due to the nature of the role (clues in the title) and we\'re looking for a good level of SAP knowledge.
