An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Finance Analyst to join a specialist consumer finance company based in Woking, Surrey. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in finance, looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive team.

Role Responsibilities




Daily cash reconciliation, ensuring all payment activity aligns with company records Regular reconciliation of the company's general and operational accounts to monitor cash position Support the finance team in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of period-end financial reporting Facilitate timely payout of approved loans Assist in financial analysis and production of internal reports for key stakeholders Support internal stakeholders across departments with finance-related queries Respond to email requests, liaise with customers and suppliers, and manage debtor/creditor communications Contribute to the resolution of ad-hoc finance queries as required



Role Requirements




Educated to 'A' level standard A level Actively studying or planning to study a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or CIMA preferred) Minimum of 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting role (experience in mortgage, consumer credit, or financial services is advantageous) Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and administrative abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
