Step One Finance Limited is a rapidly growing specialist lender in the second charge market located in Woking, Surrey. The company is looking for an experienced full-time Finance Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in finance, looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive team environment.

Main Responsibilities





Perform daily cash reconciliations to ensure payment activity aligns with company records Reconcile operational accounts and monitor cash positions Support accurate period-end financial reporting Facilitate payouts of approved loans Assist in producing financial reports and analysis for management Handle finance-related queries from internal teams and external stakeholders Liaise with customers, suppliers, and manage debtor/creditor communications Help resolve ad-hoc finance queries as needed

Role Requirements





A-level educated (or equivalent) Studying/planning to study AAT, ACCA, or CIMA 1+ year's experience in a finance or accounting role (mortgage, credit, or financial services a plus) Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skill Confident communicator with a problem-solving mindset
