We are seeking a proactive
Finance & Billing Assistant
to join our team at our HQ in Stapleford. This role is essential for maintaining the financial integrity and smooth operation of our rapidly expanding business, directly supporting the Finance Manager with core purchase ledger, payment, and reconciliation activities.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
The Finance & Billing Assistant will provide comprehensive support across all core financial functions:
Account Management & Control
Management of
Supplier & Customer Accounts
, including setting up new accounts and accurately maintaining existing details.
Proactive
Credit Control
, managing debtor reminders for overdue invoices and minimizing financial risk.
Performing essential
Credit Checks
on new and prospective partners.
Handling
Supplier Reconciliations
and efficiently resolving
Supplier Disputes
.
Billing & Reporting
Assisting with critical
Bill Run Checks
to ensure accuracy before partner release.
Supporting the Finance Manager with purchase ledger, payment runs, and reconciliations.
Addressing and resolving
Finance Queries
from internal teams and external partners.
Administration
Performing essential
General Administration
tasks, including sorting mail, handling phone reception, and providing general support to ensure the Finance Department operates smoothly.
Requirements:
Experience & Aptitude
Proven experience in a similar finance support or administrative role is preferred,
but not a requirement
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to work to maintain deadlines, and work under pressure.
Logistics
Hours:
40 hours per week, office-based at our HQ in Stapleford.
