Job Purpose
To assist and support the Finance Manager with the following:
Business analysis
Management accounts
Client accounts
Balance sheet
Profit and loss account
Cashflow
Payroll
Bank Reconciliation
Periodical Control Account Reconciliation
HR - Holidays, employment contracts (permanent & contractors), reviews, implementing HR policies and procedures
Contract management
Filing, archiving
The role is required to hold an immediate understanding of trading performance of the business regarding the above.
Key Accountabilities
Perform daily/weekly/periodically clients reconciliation to RSP reporting data
Assistance with management accounts
Monitor daily cash position alerting Finance Manager of any emerging risks
Raising invoices, credit notes and general credit control and liaising with customers and suppliers and resolving issues.
Measure debtor and creditor days and optimise to the benefit of the Company
Responsible for holiday schedule, employment contracts (permanent & contractors)
Reviews and improving standards, implementing HR policies and procedures
Education and Experience
Part qualified accountancy qualification ( ACCA, CIMA , AAT ) desirable with minimum 2 years hands on experience in a finance environment.
Demonstrable experience of working in management accounting
Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques
Display an ability to work quickly and accurately in analysing data
Good computer skills ( Excel and Word )
A requirement to conduct tasks in a discreet and confidential manner
Attending board meeting and taking minutes
Experience in using Exact accounting software or any similar software
Skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good organisational skills
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Confident with IT (especially Excel and Exact/any accounting software packages)
Willing to learn with can do job done attitude
Good communications skills (written and verbal)
