Duties & Responsibilities:
Management of the Purchase Ledger
Posting all purchase invoices and credit notes
Reconciling supplier statements
Managing and preparing supplier payment runs
Dealing with all supplier queries
Expediting short or missing supplier deliveries with the Purchasing Department
Producing weekly payment runs
Reviewing supplier Non-Conformance Returns for credit notes
Reviewing all non-manufacturing open purchase orders
Providing cross-functional support where required
Raising Purchase Orders and Payment Authorisations
Person Specification:
Essential:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Desirable:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above
Reporting to:
This role is reporting to the Finance Manager
Working Hours:
This is a Full-Time position working 08.30 - 17:00 Monday-Thursday, 8.30-2.30 Friday as standard.
You will be allocated time to work on your apprenticeship modules throughout the working week.
