Arconic is currently in search of Degree Level Apprentice in Accounting to join our Finance Team based in Kitts Green, Birmingham.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Degree Level Apprentice in Accounting. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting while pursuing a degree. You will work closely with our finance team, learning the fundamentals of accounting and contributing to the financial success of our company.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Support the management of accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements and ledgers.
• Help with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse financial data.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

You will need

• Currently enrolled in or planning to enrol in a degree program in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.

Qualifications:
You have: (required)
GCSE: Grade 7 English and Maths and Grade 4 in at least 4 of remaining subjects.
A-Levels: Grade C in three subjects, would need to be in Maths / Economics/ Business Studies or other related type of subjects.

About the Team: ABOUT KITTS GREEN Kitts Green is situated in the heart of Birmingham and approximately a 10-minute drive from Birmingham International Airport. The location also has good transport links to the M42/M6 motorway and Lea Hall train station is a 10-minute walk offering regular trains to Birmingham City Centre. Our Plant is a forward looking manufacturing facility with a long tradition of inclusion, teamwork and community action.
