About this Role
We are looking for a reliable and numerate individual to join our busy team as a Finance Assistant. This is a 12 months Fixed Term Contract.
Grade:
H6 (Full-time Equivalent salary: 29,540 to 32,061 per annum plus outer fringe allowance of 729)
Hours:
Full-time of 37 hours per week, Term time plus three weeks
Core working hours:
Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
Including 30-minute unpaid lunch break (with free meal provided on site)
Actual Salary: 27,225 to 29,493 per annum depending on experience

As soon as possible - subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks

Has experience of working within a finance department.
Has knowledge of financial regulations and accounting procedures.
Can effectively use financial software, Excel and Microsoft Word.
Demonstrates strong numerical and analytical skills.
Has keen eye for details.
