are a small, friendly but rapidly growing commercial cleaning company based in London. As a business we offer both contract cleaning and one-off cleans (post construction, end of tenancy, deep cleans etc) and all associated services eg window cleaning, jet washing, carpet and flooring cleans.
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Accounts Department. Please note - Currently this role is remote with occasional office days Ilford/East London. This may change depending on growth and needs of the business so you should live within a reasonable distance if necessary.

The role is to primarily assist the Finance Manager; repsonsibities include:
Sales invoices responsibilities:
- Assistance with raising sales invoices on a regular basis
- Ensuring sales invoices correspond to purchase orders
- Calculating and applying Vat Reverse Charge on sales invoices where applicable
- Distributing sales invoices to customers
- Assisting with reviewing and rectifying customers invoices queries
- Providing support to credit control
- Maintaining accurate and up to date customers records on sales ledger
- Assisting Finance Manager with monthly management accounts preparation
Purchases invoices responsibilities:
- Processing purchase invoices on a regular basis
- Preparing and submitting purchase invoices for approval
- Ensuring all purchase invoices are in line with company policy
- Assisting with rectifying invoices queries
- Assisting with preparation of weekly suppliers payment runs
Requirements:
- Experience as a sales and purchase invoices clerk or a similar role
- Excellent attention to details
- Strong data entry skills
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Familiarity with Sage Accounts 50
- Experience within accounting or bookkeeping is preferred
Schedule -
4 hours per day over 5 days per week, Monday to Friday = 20 hours / week.
Pay -
15.00 per hour PAYE with accrued holiday pay or self-employed welcome
