We are looking for a Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable to join our committed and experienced Finance Team.
Perhaps you have experience working in a finance department and are looking for a small team in which to learn key Finance skills.
We're looking for a proactive team player with a 'can-do' attitude, ready to take initiative and contribute positively to our team.

The role is full time, and we have a generous holiday entitlement including 5 additional discretionary days at Christmas providing for the full Christmas to New Year closure.

Your duties
You will:

• To ensure that all supplier invoices and other relevant documentation is entered on to the finance system accurately, efficiently.
• To manage and maintain the Accounts Payable System
• Provide monthly KPI reports.
• Liaise with College staff and debtors on financial queries and enquiries.

Person specification
The successful candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

• Experience working in a finance department
• AAT Qualified or equivalent (desirable)
• Experience of efficient and accurate data input
• Strong attention to detail
• Minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language
• Good communication skills
