Our finance team has a requirement for a new Finance Assistant.
The candidate will be joining a very motivated and dedicated team which thrive on good customer service.
Responsibilities will include
Perform administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending reminders and and contacting customers to discuss their accounts.
Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate, complete and up to date.
Responsible for own ledger ensuring all customers adhere to their payment terms
Develop relationships with customers, answering any queries concerning their accounts and / or bills
Generate reports and statements for internal use
Identify and monitoring customers who pose a financial risk.
Identifying ways in which the current processes and procedures can be improved
Preferred skills
AAT Level 2 or similar
Excellent telephone manner
Self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate with moderate Excel and strong Outlook skills
Sage experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Good at working as part of a team and individually
Excellent organisational and time management skills

Summary
