We work with customers across commercial fleets and transport operations, providing reliable hardware, intelligent video solutions, and software that supports safety, compliance and operational performance.

We are seeking a motivated and organised Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build strong experience across the full finance function, working closely with internal teams and acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day finance support.

The Role



This role will provide first-line support across finance, working with multiple departments and supporting the smooth running of core finance processes including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, reconciliations, reporting and general finance administration.

Key Responsibilities



Act as first-line support for all incoming finance queries, responding promptly and escalating when required Assist with credit control processes, including customer account follow-up and maintaining aged debtor reporting Support the processing of sales invoices, customer accounts and payment allocations Assist with purchase invoice processing, supplier account queries and ensuring accurate coding and approvals Help maintain high-volume ledgers and ensure transactions are posted accurately and on time Support bank and ledger reconciliations (including nominal ledger reconciliations where required) Produce weekly and monthly reporting as required (e.g. debtor reports, creditor reports, cash tracking support) Provide general administrative support to the finance function including document control and filing Liaise with other departments such as Sales, Operations, and Customer Support to resolve invoice and account issues Support finance with month-end preparation tasks where appropriate Any other duties required to support the Finance Team

Essential Criteria



GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C or above Strong organisational skills and attention to detail High level of aptitude for administrative and process-based work Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Able to work effectively with minimal supervision and manage workload efficiently Strong communication skills and ability to work well with multiple internal teams Strong attention to detail. Professional communication.

Desirable Criteria



Experience working in a Finance / Accounts environment Experience using Xero and Quickbooks Interest in progressing within finance (e.g. willing to work toward accounting qualifications) Prior experience working in a fast-paced SME / technology / services environment Experienced in working with discretion and professionalism when handling customer and financial data

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
