Job Summary

:
We are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with daily financial operations, bookkeeping and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with the finance team and other departments.

Responsibilities



Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and promptly. Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions. Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and other accounting records. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions from multiple revenue/cost streams. Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues. Assist in managing ecommerce platforms and trade orders. Assist in stock management and valuation. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assisting with the preparation and submission of tax filings. Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Perform general administrative tasks as required by the finance department. Supporting the wider team with enquiries and day-to-day operations.

Experience



A basic understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) is essential. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is essential. A qualification in accounting or relevant studies is preferred but not required
