We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team. You will support day-to-day finance operations and play a key role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency within the department.

Key Responsibilities



Assist with processing purchase invoices, sales invoices, and expense claims

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

Reconcile statements, ledgers, and financial records

Maintain accurate and organised financial documentation

Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders

Update systems and databases with financial and transactional information

Assist with general administrative tasks to support the finance team

Qualifications & Experience



Required:



GCSEs/A-Levels or equivalent (including Maths and English)

Advanced in Excel and confident with Microsoft Office

Basic understanding of finance or accounting principles

Desirable (not essential):



Studying AAT or willingness to work toward a finance qualification

Experience in a similar administrative or financial support role

Familiarity with finance/accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)

About You



Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role (retail or wholesale experience desirable)

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Good organisational and time-management skills

Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Able to work well independently and as part of a team
