We are now looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Assistant to join our current Finance team. This is a varied and hands-on finance role ideal for someone with experience in transactional finance who enjoys working in a fast-paced, busy environment.
The role
to ensure all financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations, are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
to work as a key member of the team, providing comprehensive support to, and building effective relationships with, your colleagues, customers and suppliers
resolve invoice and payment queries, working closely with internal teams to obtain relevant information
manage customers and supplier accounts, ensuring accurate and up to date records of supplier details and transactions
What you need
proven experience working in a similar finance role within a fast-paced, busy environment
experience with both purchase and sales ledger management
strong IT skills and proficiency in the use of accounting software
strong numerical and analytical skills
outstanding organisational skills, with ability to prioritise work and manage multiple demands
excellent communication/interpersonal skills
experience of Accounts IQ or similar cloud-based finance system would be advantageous
AAT level 2 qualification would be desirable, but not essential
The package
Salary 27k to 30k per annum DOE
37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
