Raising Explorers is an Ofsted-registered childcare and education centre based in Bradford. We are dedicated to delivering excellent care and learning opportunities for children, and we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our supportive team.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic finance professional to contribute to the smooth running of our centre. You'll be part of a small team where your skills and attention to detail will play an important role in ensuring our finances are accurate and well managed.
Main Duties
Carry out day-to-day tasks to support the finance department
Keep financial records and spreadsheets up to date
Assist the Finance Manager with payroll, expenditure, income tracking, and reporting
Process childcare funding and benefit claims in line with UK government requirements
Communicate with parents, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external contacts
Maintain high standards of accuracy and organisation in all tasks
