Take responsibility for the secure receipt, counting, banking, and recording of all physical monies received into the hospice, in accordance with Hospice policy. Download, reconcile, and record all electronically received income. Share responsibility for petty cash, banking of miscellaneous income, and other general office duties. Accurately enter all donations into the database and manage associated Gift Aid declarations.
Ensure full compliance with regulations surrounding Gift Aid, Direct Debits and Data Protection following training, and report any breaches to the Finance Manager. Share responsibility for investigating and resolving queries across all income streams, including invoicing and online donations, while liaising effectively with internal teams and external customers. Share responsibility for processing, resolving queries, and reconciling the Purchase Ledger, maintaining effective communication with internal colleagues and external suppliers. Reconcile the bank accounts for both the Hospice and its Trading Company.
