Summary



We are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our team in Brentwood. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial operations, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional communication solutions. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help us maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities



Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Raising purchase orders from approved purchase requisitions. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies. Preparing and processing supplier payment runs. Raising and issuing sales invoices. Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely receipt of payments. Reconciling customer statements and managing account queries. Chasing outstanding debt via phone, email, and written communication. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure prompt payments. Escalating overdue accounts where appropriate and recommending actions. Accurately allocating customer receipts against invoices. Reconciling bank accounts on a regular basis. Identifying and investigating unallocated cash. Assisting with month-end and year-end processes. Supporting the Management Accounant with ad hoc reporting and analysis. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with company policies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is required Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting Cloud ERP and Sage software Excellent organisational and time-management skills Strong communication skills with the ability to manage both internal and external relationships.
