Finance Assistant
at our Stoke Orchard office.
This is a excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established business, supporting day-to-day finance operations with a focus on purchase ledger tasks.
About The role:
Working within a finance team of 6 to provide support with a number of tasks including:
Processing supplier invoices
Maintaining a credit request spreadsheet
Reconciling supplier statements for month end closure
Assisting with cost transfers
Providing general administrative support such as opening post, franking post and answering the phones.
About The person:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to organise time effectively
Experience of working within an account team (construction industry is a bonus)
Flexible and adaptable (there may be some overtime during busy times)
Strong communication skills both written and verbally
Ability to work independently but also be a team player
Knowledge of accounting software
Good working knowledge of Excel
