We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation by assisting with various accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Duties



Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure timely data entry into accounting systems. Support the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts while ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and provide support as needed. Assist in the preparation for audits by providing required documentation and information. Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding financial matters and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements



A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not essential for candidates with relevant experience. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with colleagues at all levels. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes. Pay: 12.45-13.00 per hour
