Job Description

Due to continued company growth, Vigilant Security are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable Finance Assistant join our busy Finance Department in Dumfries.



This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to enhance their career and join a fast-growing company. The post offered is a full-time position, the hours of work are Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00).



This position boasts a competitive salary with a holiday entitlement of 28 days, inclusive of bank holidays.

Preferred Skills:

An ambitious candidate with a real passion for a career in finance Excellent written, communication skills An understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail A real desire to learn the various accounting packages used within finance

Duties and Responsibilities:

Uniform orders Uniform recycling Stock control of uniform Assist with sales invoicing Assist with holiday processing & other functions of Time & attendance system Assist with payroll processing
