We are starting the year with an exciting opportunity to expand our team at Phoenix Equipment Ltd. We are a growing Dundee-based business seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to take responsibility for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable/Credit Control.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger

Responsible for accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices. Manage supplier queries and reconcile supplier statements. Working knowledge of nominal and VAT coding. Prepare payment run reports. Process employee expenses.
Sales Ledger

Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger. Communicate with customers to ensure payment received according to terms. Resolve invoice queries promptly and efficiently. Prepare weekly sales import report.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Great attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software. Willingness to adapt to the needs of the business and assist with ad hoc tasks.
