Finance Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Ledger:
Managing invoicing and credit control, ensuring timely payments from customers, and maintaining accurate records.
Purchase Ledger:
Processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, and handling supplier queries.
Banking:
Assisting with bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded, and liaising with the bank for any discrepancies.
Skills & Experience Required:
Experience in sales ledger, purchase ledger, and banking processes.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good knowledge of accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage workloads efficiently.
Desirable but not essential:
Previous experience in a similar finance role.
AAT qualification or studying towards an accounting qualification.
