The Team
This is an excellent opportunity to make a significantimpact in our team and be a part of our journey. As part of the Transactionsteam within Finance, you will work closely with our Transactions &Settlements Services Manager along with the other Finance functions. But youwont stop there the nature of this role ensures you will have theopportunity to interact with and support colleagues across all areas ofInterGen.

Role Overview
Accounts Payable (AP) Processing
Oversee the entire end-to-end procure-to-pay(P2P) cycle, from requisitions to payments.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies andinternal controls.
Accurately process accounts payable transactionswithin set timelines.
Conduct supplier reconciliations and resolvediscrepancies.
Maintain and control supplier master data,verifying all updates.
Review and validate VAT reports for accuracy andcompliance; collaborate with the tax team monthly.
Monitor aging reports to ensure timely payments.
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholdersto resolve queries.
Identify and support process improvements andautomation initiatives
Accounts Receivable (AR) Processing
Manage the end-to-end AR process, from invoicingto collections.
Accurately process and allocate incomingpayments.
Prepare and monitor aging reports to trackoutstanding receivables.
Support month-end and year-end close by ensuringAR balances are complete and accurate.
Maintain audit-ready records and documentationfor compliance
Month End
Reconcile general ledger accounts and keymodules (e.g., AP, AR, GRNI)
Reconcile monthly inventory balances
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register,including additions, disposals, and depreciation
Prepare and post monthly journals (e.g.,prepayments, accruals, depreciation)
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurateposting of receipts and payments
Investigate and resolve reconciling itemspromptly
Escalate discrepancies or unusual variances tothe Manager
Audit & Site Support
Support the team by providing and filing all therequired information
Weekly liaisons with site business partners toresolve any issues
Provide site support during outages tofacilitate smooth processing

, you are a team player who iseager to build positive working relationships. You are motivated with anenthusiastic and dedicated approach to growing your career within Finance. You havean interest in exploring new systems and learning from others, enjoying avaried day at work within a fast-paced environment. Ideally you will have agood knowledge of the P2P cycle, AP processes and an understanding of internalcontrols and compliance within financial operations. Previous ERP experience(SAP, Oracle, JDE etc.) would be advantageous but we are happy to help youdevelop in this area if not.
This role would suit someone who has 2-5 years experiencein P2P, AP or a similar finance focused role, however we would still encourageapplicants to apply who bring a positive approach to learning new skills, acurious mindset and a real drive for a career in Finance.
