The Role
We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join our busy Finance team. You'll be right at the centre of day-to-day financial operations -- processing invoices, keeping ledgers tidy, and supporting cashflow management. It's a hands-on role where accuracy and organisation really matter, but you'll also get plenty of variety and the chance to grow with us as the business scales.
What You'll Be Doing
Processing purchase and subcontractor invoices (stock and non-stock)
Managing pro-formas and chasing VAT invoices where needed
Reconciling supplier statements and keeping ledgers up to date
Supporting weekly and monthly payment runs
Maintaining tidy digital records and helping improve finance processes
Working closely with our Commercial and Project teams to keep everything running smoothly
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
Confident using accounting software and Excel
Sharp attention to detail and good with deadlines
Strong communicator -- happy speaking with suppliers, subcontractors, and colleagues
Organised, proactive, and happy juggling a few things at once
AAT Level 2/3 (or working towards it) would be a bonus, not essential
