Finance Assistant Responsibilities:



Breaking and reconciliation: Handling daily bank reconciliations, processing card payments, and managing daily banking tasks Sales Ledger and Credit Control: Monitoring outstanding debts, following up on queries with customers and internal teams, and preparing for month-end statements Purchase Ledger: Processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and managing payment runs Financial Administration: Handling petty cash, processing driver expense claims, and assisting with small claims procedures when needed Team Support: Covering various finance tasks during team holidays to keep everything running smoothly

What's required from you?



Previous experience in a finance role within the motor industry Strong numerical and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy Confident communicator - both over the phone and in person IT-literate, with experience using finance systems and spreadsheets
