Location: Glasgow (City Centre)
Salary: Circa 28,000 per annum
Working hours: 35 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm
Flexibility: Expectation to attend office 2-3 days a week

The Role
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team as our business undergoes an exciting period of growth.
The finance team of MDDUS supports the membership-facing teams in a number of ways including but not limited to:
Transactional processing
Reporting and data analysis
Liquidity and investments management
Project support
Payroll
Finance assistants are predominantly responsible for accurate processing of invoices and recording of bank transactions. This includes:
Inputting invoices data onto the system
Ensuring cost invoices and expenses are authorised
Bank reconciliations
Assisting with the payment run.
What you can bring to the role
Some experience working as a finance assistant, or in a similar role, is essential for us.
While a formal qualification in finance or a related discipline is not essential for this role it would be advantageous.

Attention to detail: Highly organised, with experience in recording accurate financial data.
Highly organised: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, keeping financial processes running smoothl
Good Stakeholder Management: Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels across our business and external providers.
Independent and collaborative: Comfortable working both on your own and as part of a team while managing a varied workload.
