Finance Assistant - Global / Intercompany Experience Desirable!
Salary: Up to 35k DOE
Hours: 8.30am - 5pm initially (however flexible once training is completed)
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're recruiting a Finance Assistant on behalf of a global business based in Henfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple finance functions while working towards your AAT, CIMA, or ACCA qualification.
What you'll be doing:

• Processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking transactions

• Posting journals and supporting month-end closing activities

• Assisting with payroll reviews and working alongside outsourced partners

• Reconciling credit cards, balance sheets, and P&L accounts

• Supporting VAT filings and other finance compliance activities

• Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and cost centre analysis

• Supporting external audits and wider finance projects as needed

Who we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a finance role, ideally covering transactional duties and reconciliations

• Strong Excel and IT skills

• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach

• Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, and capable of working independently or in a team

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Currently studying or interested in studying AAT, CIMA, or ACCA
