Job Description

Arriva Care Services Limited is a homecare provider based in Gloucester. They offer support to adults of all ages, including those with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Finance Assistant, to help facilitate the smooth running of the day-to-day accounting tasks. Your responsibilities include assisting with various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The main duties will be:



Bank reconciliation.

Assisting with credit control

Sales Ledger management and reconciliations

Cash/Credit card posting and reconciliation.

Undertake all aspects of purchase ledger administration for specific departments, from invoice processing to payment runs and supplier reconciliation in a timely manner ensuring payment terms are adhered to.

Assisting with month end

Ad hoc work

The successful candidate will have the following skills:



Ability to manage your own workload.

Strong degree of accuracy and an eye for detail

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Experience in working with Cloud Base accounting software

Prior experience with Xero advantageous
