Scape are at a pivotal point of growth. The Scape Finance Team

The Scape UK finance team is based in a stylish welcoming office in Harrogate offering scenic views of the viaduct, on-site parking, and a calm, tranquil working environment. It provides accounting and finance to the UK assets, including operational assets and development assets. The teams work includes investor reporting, management accounting, statutory reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

The Role

We are looking for a finance assistant to join our transactional team. The role of Finance Assistant is to support the Finance function, by maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase and sales records of designated sites.

Responsibilities

Process purchase and sales invoices Create payment runs Reconcile supplier statements Calculate and organise student refunds Maintaining transactional ledgers and resolving outstanding issues Bank reconciliations Run aged debtors and aged creditors reports Support the finance managers and management accountants in the resolution of queries Build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Other tasks as required to support the finance team

Skills & Experience:

Purchase ledger experience is essential High level of input accuracy and an eye for detail to spot any discrepancies Ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders Good level of Excel skills and overall IT literacy AAT qualification would be an advantage Experience using Microsoft Navision an advantage
