Job Description
The 12 month fixed term contract Finance Assistant will support the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and assisting with various financial processes. This role is based in Haywards Heath and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of finance-related tasks.
- Process and reconcile financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.
- Support the team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Handle queries related to financial transactions and reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
