Finance Assistant | Hybrid (after Training)

Job Description

This is a superb opportunity to work within an excellent client of mine based towards Gatwick Airport.
Over time, I have placed a Management Accountant and Assistant Management Accountant within the finance team and, on this occasion, I am assisting them in finding a sharp Finance Assistant.
The ideal candidate for this role will have had a taste of a finance role and be progressing with an AAT qualification (preferably level 2 qualified).
The ideal duties from the start, will include:

  • Expenses
  • Subcontractor payments
  • Purchase Ledger/ supplier invoice processing
  • Processing of timesheets
But, for the right person, this role will evolve over time. The ideal candidate will:
  • SOME experience within a finance/ accounts admin type environment
  • Have completed an AAT level 2
  • Have at least intermediate Excel skills and experience of working with an accounting package previously
