Are you an ambitious and detail-oriented finance professional looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global business? Our Client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an exciting role offering exposure to multiple areas of finance, with a study package to support your AAT, CIMA, or ACCA qualification.
The Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will work closely with a small and dedicated Finance Team, supporting both transactional finance duties and wider financial reporting and analysis. This role is iseal for someone who is motivated to build a successful career in finance and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and banking transactions
• Processing and posting of journals
• Supporting outsourced partners in the review of global payrolls
• Completing monthly credit card reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end closing activities
• Conducting Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Processing transactions and analysing financial data
• Assisting with VAT filings and payments
• Supporting external audit processes

Key Projects:

• Assisting the Business Partner team with cost centre reviews and analysis
• Supporting the Budgeting and Forecasting process
• Collaborating on ad-hoc financial projects to support the wider Finance Team

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in a similar finance role
• Strong Excel skills and IT literacy
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Currently studying or keen to study AAT, CIMA, or ACCA
• Must be a driver due to location
