We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team in Leeds city centre. This role plays a vital part in keeping the business running smoothly, accurately, and compliantly through strong transactional finance processes. You'll be trusted with core finance activities and work closely with colleagues across the organisation, contributing to a well-run, high-performing business.

Key Responsibilities

Accurate processing of supplier invoices within the financial accounting system Weekly preparation of creditor reports Daily bank reconciliations, including multi-currency transactions Weekly expense processing and credit card spend management in line with company policies Credit control, cash allocation, and weekly debtor reporting Ledger reconciliations and posting of manual journals Assisting with VAT data preparation and supporting finance reporting Liaising with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information Fixed asset register maintenance
Skills and Experience

AAT qualification (advantageous but not essential) Alternatively, at least 1 year of relevant transactional finance experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Well organised with the ability to manage routine deadlines Comfortable working with finance systems and spreadsheets Clear, professional communication skills

This role is office based.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 28,000.00 per year
