The Role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our global team and be part of a dynamic and expanding technology service provider company.


In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller. Your primary purpose will be to provide crucial support in producing timely and accurate financial reporting for the entire business.



A key part of this role will involve supporting the smooth rollout of new accounting systems, where you will take ownership of relevant account segments. You will also play a role in assisting in driving a more efficient and consistent approach in all finance processes across the Zenitech Group, helping us to continually improve our operations.

What you will do

AIQ UK rollout assistance Supplier management and payment run preparations Setting financial data ready for MA submission UK fixed assets accounting Bank reconciliations Assisting with Group entity recharges and recs Preparation of data for audit - supplier section Contributing to cost accruals and prepayments Intercompany supplier vs sales ledger recs Collaboration with other group finance teams Assisting in driving account processes more accurately and efficiently Any other ad hoc accounts tasks as required

Requirements

----------------

Proven experience in bank reconciliations, supplier management, and payment run preparation. Solid knowledge of fixed assets accounting. Experience or strong ability in preparing and processing cost accruals and prepayments. Familiarity with intercompany accounting and reconciliations (supplier vs. sales ledger). Demonstrable experience in assisting with data preparation for financial reporting and external audits. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. A proactive mindset and the ability to identify and support improvements in finance processes for greater efficiency. Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working effectively with other Group finance teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software (exposure to new system rollouts is a plus, referencing "AIQ UK rollout assistance").
