The role of the finance assistant is based on having a proactive and inspiring service delivered to all of our team members at The Stafford London to ensure effective administration and general duties.

WHAT ARE MY MAIN DUTIES?



Process and review invoices for accuracy, correct approval, and appropriate documentation. Ensure accurate and timely payments are processed to vendors Maintain up-to-date vendor records and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues. Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances. Prepare and process employee expense reimbursements in line with company policies. Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all AP transactions are recorded. Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal control compliance. Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to address inquiries and ensure payment accuracy. Process credit card expenses and reconciliation To assist on ad-hoc projects and to carry out any other duties which may be considered reasonable, and in line with the role.

WHAT DO I NEED?



Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure the best business results

Fully Proficient in spoken and written English Language

Excellent communication skills are essential as is the observance of discretion at all times due to the high sensitivity of the information handled

Passion for working with people, and has a positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn

An exceptional attention to detail is also required as is a flexible attitude when it comes to working time as the role which is primarily Monday to Friday will occasionally require weekend working

Effective written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and proposals

Computer Literate to a high level with office based applications

Willing to carry out responsibilities outside own job - scope

Demonstrates a willingness to adapt their approach where necessary

Copes well with pressure and changes to the working environment

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
