We are looking for a Finance Assistant to support our small accounts team in managing our day to day financial operations. This is a varied role covering sales, customer reconciliations and assisting with monthly reporting. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of finance and accounting practices, strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
This is a hands on role providing an exciting opportunity to learn all aspects of a finance function in a growing and dynamic company.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Assist in the ongoing maintenance of large wholesale accounts
Creation of sales invoices and credit notes
Customer reconciliations
Credit control
Posting bank receipts and card transactions to SAGE
Liaison with Pour Moi shops, reconciling and posting weekly sales to SAGE
Produce daily, weekly and monthly sales reports using Excel
Ensuring all financial data is accurate, complete, and delivered in a timely manner
Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks as required
WHO YOU ARE:
You will have excellent organisation skills, enjoy a varied workload and have the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
We are looking for a willingness to learn. You will be comfortable learning new systems and taking on new processes
You will be proactive, with a drive to continually improve processes and increase automation
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to spot errors and perform reconciliations
You will be proficient in excel (formulae, pivot tables etc). Experience of Sage 50 would be an advantage
You should be a confident communicator, adaptable, and motivated to work collaboratively as part of a small team.
This role could suit someone who has worked as an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or Finance Administrator
