Purpose of the job

Perform accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including preparation of Profit & Loss accounts and Balance Sheet reports. Support internal and external audits, including ICFR (K-Sox) and statutory/group audits. Manage fixed assets, leases, and related financial reporting. Handle open item management, account reconciliations, and risk management reporting. Monitor and review financial transactions across subsidiaries, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Conduct cost analysis and report on profitability variances. Ensure compliance with corporation tax, VAT, and other tax requirements within prescribed timelines. Provide guidance, training, and support to subsidiaries on financial issues. Liaise with approximately 50 communication partners across 4 European subsidiaries. Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks as required. ####

Candidate Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.

Essential:

5+ years' experience in Accounting & Finance or part-qualified ACCA. Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles. Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High numeracy and financial awareness.

Advantageous:

Experience with SAP ERP systems. Previous finance experience in an international business environment. ####
